Our dried peppers are grown on 250 acres of rich Columbian soil bathed by a warm tropical sun and crystal clear Caribbean waters. Once ready, our peppers are picked and brought to a neighboring 25,000 sq. ft. processing plant and warehouse where they are dried in one of two huge drying tunnels capable of handling over 10,000 lbs. of fresh peppers a day. Our supplier has been in business for over almost 30 years producing these quality peppers for the food industry.
The peppers are first soaked in brine and then dried to less than 4% humidity. Once dried, the peppers are packed and shipped to us for re-sale. No middle man. You'd be hard pressed to find a better quality dried pepper anywhere.
Pepper uses:
*Grind whole dried peppers to use as a seasoning in soups, stews, marinades etc. Add into your favorite spice rub to heat things up.
*To reconstitute peppers, soak in hot water or stock for 20 to 30 minutes and use as you would frsh peppers
